Common questions
Do you help with drain clogs?
Yes. Brown’s Maintenance can help with common sink, tub, and fixture clogs using proper tools, including a commercial-grade auger when appropriate.
Do you handle leaks?
Brown’s Maintenance can help with visible minor leaks around faucets, fixtures, sinks, garbage disposals, and accessible areas. Larger or hidden plumbing problems may require a licensed plumber.
Do you clear main sewer lines?
No. Main sewer line issues, major backups, and larger plumbing problems should be handled by a licensed plumber or drain specialist.
Can you help with a leaking garbage disposal?
Yes. Justin can inspect common garbage disposal issues and may recommend replacement if the unit is leaking, loose, noisy, or failing.
Can I send a photo first?
Yes. Sending a photo can help Justin understand the issue and determine whether it is a good fit for Brown’s Maintenance.
Where does fixture-level work end?
At the shut-off valve, roughly. Anything downstream of the angle stop or behind the toilet bolts is fair game. Anything that needs a pipe cut in a wall, a water heater tank, or a gas line goes to a licensed plumber, and I’ll say so on the phone.
My toilet runs on and off all night. Can you help?
That’s usually a five-dollar flapper or a fifteen-dollar fill valve, plus twenty minutes. Bring it up when you call and I’ll grab the parts on the way.
